SUBJECT: Recommendation to Award Bid for Maintenance of Six
Parking Structures Bid No. 1725
Introduction
Th~s report concerns award of bid for maintenance of parking
structures in the total amount of $27,408.00 including applicable
sales tax. Funds for this purchase have been budgeted in account
number 01-500-412-000-691 (Parking and Traffic)
Background
In response to published Notice Inviting Bids to maintain six
parking structures in accordance with City specifications, bids
were received and publicly opened and read March 8, 1982. Proposal
forms were mailed to sixty-four maintenance contractors and
notices were advertised in accordance with City Charter and
MUTI1cipal Code prov1sions One proposal was received
Recommendation
It is recommended that the award be made to Consolidated Building
Maintenance in the total amount of $27,408.00, including tax, as
the lowest and best bidder
