Introduction
ThlS report concerns award of bid for one microfilm reader printer in
the total amount of $4,944 90 including applicable sales tax Funds
for this purchase have been budgeted in account number 01-100-214-000-
801 (City Clerk) and account nunber 01-400-611-000-811 (Library)
Background
In response to pub11shed Notice Invlting Bids to furnish and deliver
a reader-printer in accordance with City Specifications, bids were
received and ~ublicly opened and read on Febraury 11, 1982. Proposal
forms were mailed to thlrteen vendors and notices were advertised in
accordance wlth City Charter and Municipal Code provlSlons. Four
responses were received only one of which meets the City's specifica-
tions. The responses were as follows:
