Introduction
This report concerns award of bid for miscellaneous stationery supplies
ror the period May 1, 1982 through April 31, 1983.
Background
In response to published Notice Invitlng Blds to furnish and deliver
miscellaneous stationery supplies in accordance with City s~ecifications,
bids were received and publicly opened and read on March 16, 1982
Proposal forms were mailed to flfteen vendors and notices were advertised
ln accordance wlth City Charter and 11unicipal Code provisions Four
proposals were received The proposals covered approximately 175
different items Recapitulation of the four reponses are on file
in the Purchasing Office. A weighted analysis of the proposals indicates
that whl1e each of the four vendor's proposals shows low quotations
on some indlvidual items, the low bidder overall is ilartln Office
Supply. The weighted analysis compares the approximately 175
items and estimated quantities to be covered by thls proposal. Gross
results of the analysis shows
