SUBJECT Recommendation to Award Bid for Recycling Bins

Introductlon
This report concerns award of bid for recycling bins i~ the total
amount of $8,946.40 including applicable sales tax. Funds for thls
purchase have been budgeted in account number 27-500-443-555-401
Background
In response to published Notice Inviting Bids (published 4-15-82)
to furnish 35 recycling bins in accordance with City speciifciatlons,
blds were received and publicly opened and read April 27, 1982.
Proposal forms were mal led to seventeen vendors and notices were
advertised in accordance wlth City Charter and Municipal Code
provislons. Two proposals were received as follows
