In response to publlshed Notice Inviting Bids (published 4-19-82)
to furnish and deliver miscellaneous auto, truck and bus batteries
in accordance wlth City speclcatlons, bids were received and publicly
opened and read on May 4, 1982 Proposal forms were mailed to thirty-
one vendors and notices were advertised in accordance with City Charter
and Municipal Code provisions. Two proposals were received as
shown on the attached sheet

It lS recommended that the award be made to Daniels Tire Service
at the unit prices quoted for the perlod June 15, 1982 through
June 14, 1983, as the lowest and best bidder.
