ThlS report concerns award of bld for Meter Boxes, Vaults, and
Covers for the Water D1vls1on of the General Servlces Department
at the un1t prlces bid, exclud1ng appl1cable sales tax.
Backsround
In response to published Not1ces Invlt1ng Bids (publ1shed Novem-
ber 6-7, 1985) to furnlsh and del1ver Meter Boxes, Vaults, and
Covers ln accordance with City spec1f1cat1ons, bids were rece1ved
and publicly opened and read on November 26,1985. Proposal forms
were mal led to two vendors and notlces were advertised ln accor-
dance wlth Clty Charter and Munlc1pal Code prov1s1ons. Two pro-
posals were recelved as follows:

tax, as the lowest and best bldders.
