Introduct1on
This report concerns award of bld for one 25,000 GVW Cab and
ChaSS1S with Speclal Compartment Body for the Water D1VlSlon of
the General Servlces Department in the total amount of
$32,287.60. 1ncludlng applicable sales tax.
Background
In response to published Notlces Invltlng Bids (publlshed October
22-23, 1985) to furnish and del1ver one 25,000 GVW Cab and Chas-
sis with Speclal Compartment Body 1n accordance with C1ty
speclflcat1ons, blds were rece~ved and publ1Cly opened and read
on November 19, 1985. Proposal forms were mailed to nlne vendors
and not1ces were advertlsed in accordance wlth C1ty Charter and
Munlclpal Code provlslons. Three proposals were received as
