Recommendation To Award Bid For Bus Schedules.

Introduction
ThlS report concerns award of bid for approximately 1,000,000
bus schedules at the unit prices quoted during the period
from August 1, 1932 through July 31, 1933. Funds for thlS
purchase are available in account number 41-600-658-000-426
(Transportation)
Background
In response to publlshed Notice Invitlng Bids (published June 1st)
to furnish and dellver various sizes and quantities of bus
schedules in accordance with City speclfications, bids were
received and publicly opened and read on June 22, 1982. Proposal
forms were mailed to seventeen printers and notices were
advertised In accordance with City Charter and Municipal Code
provislons. Five proposals were received per the attached
schedule.
Recommendatlon
It is recommended that the award be made to Vaughn Printing
at the unit prices quoted for the period from August 1, 1982
through July 31, 1983, as the lowest and best bidder
