SUBJECT Recommendation To Award Bid For Leach Bars And Refuse

I.i.\lTRODUCTION
This report concerns award of bid for refuse bins and bin parts
in the total amount of $36,854 33 including appllcable sales tax
Funds for this purchase have been budgeted in account numbers
27-500-441-000-425 and 27-500-441-427 (Refuse Division)

In response to published Notice Inviting Bids ( published 7-1-82 )
to furnish and deliver refuse bins and bin parts in accordance
wlth City specificat~ons, bids were recelved and publlcly opened
and read on July 13, 1982. Proposal forms were mailed to
fifteen vendors and notices were advertised in accordance with
City Charter and Municipal Code provisions Three proposals were
recelved as follows,
