Introduct1on
ThlS report concerns award of bld to repair, repalnt and ref1nish
pumper apparatus for the F1re Department in the total amount of
$30,401.40, ~nclud1ng appl1cable sales tax.
Background
In response to publlshed Not1ces Invltlng B1ds (publ1shed Decem-
ber 26,27,1985) to repalr, repalnt and ref1nish pumper apparatus
in accordance wlth Clty speclf1catlons, b1ds were recelved and
publ1Cly opened and read on January 16, 1986. Proposal forms
were ma11ed to three vendors and notlces were advertised ln ac-
cordance wlth C1ty Charter and Munlclpal Code provislons. Two
proposals were received as follows:

Grumman Emergency
$30,401.40
Budgetary/F1nancial Impact
F1scal Year 1985-80 approprlatlon author1ty for th1S purchase 1S
in the Plre Department, account number 01-310-313-000-292.

Grumman Emergency Products 1n the total amount of $30,401.40
