Introduct1on
This report concerns award of b~d for one low-entry cab and chas-
sis with 29 yard, slde-loadlng refuse body for the Fefuse D1Vl-
s10n of the General Servlces Department 1n the total amount of
$83/772.30, lncludlng appllcable sales tax.
Backsround
Bld was orlginally reJected by Councll on December 10, 1985 due
to only one proposal be~ng submltted for $86/967.90. The bld llst
was subsequently rev1sed from flve vendors to thirty-nlne
vendors.
In response to publlshed Notlces Invltlng Blds (published January
18 and 19, 1986), advertlsed in accordance w1th Clty Charter and
MunlClpal Code prOV1Slons, to fUrnlsh and dellver one low-entry
cab and chassls wlth 29 yard, side-loadlng refuse body ~n accor-
dance wlth Clty speclfications, blds were recelved and publlCly
opened and read on February 18, 1986.
