This report concerns award of bid for a street patching truck 1n the
total amount of $57,802.88 1ncluding applicable sales tax. Funds
for th1S purchase have been budgeted 1n account number 01-500-421-

Background
In response to publlshed Not1ce Inv1t1ng B1ds (pub11shed 9-1-82)
to furn1sh and del1ver one street patch1ng truck in accordance
Wl.th Clty specificat1ons, bids were received and publicly opened
and read on September 21, 1982. Proposal forms were mailed to
26 vendors and notices were advertised 1n accordance w1th
C1ty Charter and Municipal Code prov1s1ons. Two proposals
were received as follows:

Recornmendatlon
It 1S recommended that the award be made to ESS1Ck Manufacturlng
