Introduction
Th1s report concerns award of bid for one back hoe in the
total amount of $23,511.34 including applicable sales tax. Funds
for th~s purchase have been budgeted in account number 01-500-421-
000-803 (Street)
Background
In response to pub11shed Notice Inviting Bids (publlshed 9-1-82 )
to furnish and deliver one back hoe ln accordance
w~th City speclf~cat~ons, blds were rece~ved and publicly opened
and read on September 21, 1982. Proposal forms were mailed to
fourteen vendors and not~ces were advertised ~n accordance wlth
City Charter and Munlc~pal Code provisions. Three proposals
were as follows:
