Introduction
This report concerns award of bld for a large refuse truck cab &
Chassls in the total amount of $55,368.28 1ncluding appl1cable sales
tax. Funds for thlS purchase have been budgeted 1n account number

Background
In response to pub11shed Notice Invlting Blds (published 9-1-82)
to furnlsh and dellver a 80,000 GVW truck cab & chassis in
accordance wlth Clty speclf1cations, blds were rece1ved and publlCly
opened and read on September 21, 1982. Proposal forms were malled
to 38 vendors and notlces were advertised in accordance with
Clty Charter and Munic1pal Code provls1ons. Four proposals
were received as follows:
