SUBJECT: Recommendation To Award Bld For One Articulated Wheel
Loader Bld No. 1786
Introductlon
ThlS report concerns award of bid for an articulated wheel loader
ln the total amount of $49,931.16 including appllcable sales tax
and credit for the trade-ln allowance. Funds for this purchase
have been budgeted in account number 27-500-441-000-803J{refuse).
Background
In response to published Notlce Invitlng Bids (publlshed 9-1-82)
to furnlsh and deliver an articulated wheel loader in accordance
with Clty specificatlons, bids were recelved and publlcly opened
and read on September 28, 1982. Proposal forms were mailed to
sixteen vendors and notices were advertlsed ln accordance wlth
Clty Charter and Munlclpal Code provlsions. Three proposals
were received as follows:

California in the total amount of $49,931.16 includlng trade-1n
allowance and includ1ng tax, as the lowest and best b1dder.
