Introduction
This report concerns award of bid for Replacement of var~ous doors
and hardware ~n the total amount of $20,004.00 lncluding appllcable
sales tax.
Funds for this purchase have been budgeted 1n account

In response to published Notlce Invltlng B~ds (publ~shed 8-1-82)
to furnish ,dellver and install replacement doors & hardware in
accordance with C~ty speciflcations, blds were rece~ved and publicly
opened and read on August 17, 1982.
Proposal forms were mailed to
22 vendors and not~ces were advertlsed in accordance with
City Charter and Municipal Code provlsions. Two proposals
were received as follows:

Recommendation
It is recommended that the award of Bid # 1777 for Replacement Doors
be made to Specialty Installatlon, Inc., Bell Gardens, Californla
