~UDGETARY/FINANCIAL IMPACT
Funds for this procurement were originally budgeted in the Fiscal
Year 1986-87 Transportation Budget.
However, because the
purchase was delayed due to unforeseen circumstances, FY 1986-87
funds reverted to the Transportation Fund balance at the end of
the fiscal year. It will, therefore, be necessary that the City
Council appropriate $31,000.00 from the Transportation Fund
balance to the FY 1987/88 Transportation Capital outlay Account
.41-600-658-000-806.
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the city council award Bid #2144 to
Pacific Coast Ford in the total amount of $29,129.86 including
tax, as the lowest and best bidder, and appropriate $31,000.00
from the Transportation Fund balance to the FY 1987/88
Transportation Capital outlay account #41-600-658-000-806.
