This report concerns award of b1d for one new d1esel powered
loader/backhoe wlth dlpper st1ck for the Mechan1ca1 Maintenance
department in the total amount of $37,922.52, including ap-
pl~cab1e sales tax.
Background
In response to publ1shed Notlces Invlting Blds (publ15hed Septem-
ber 30,and October 1, 1985) to furn1sh and deliver one new d1esel
powered loader/backhoe w1th dlpper stick ln accordance wlth Clty
speclficat1ons, b1ds were recelved and pub11cly opened and read
on November 7, 1985. Proposal forms were ma11ed to SlX vendors
and notices were advert1sed ln accordance with Clty Charter and
Munlclpal Code provislons. Three proposals were received as
follows:
