SUBJECT: Energy Savlng Devlces Sld No 1941
On March 13. 1984 the City Coune1l, w1th the reeommendatlon of City Staff,
rejected certaln energy savlng devlces from bld number 1937. These items
have been re-bld and wlll be publ1cly opened on Thursday, March 22, 1984.
The purpose of thlS staff report is to notlfy the City Council that a
supplementary staff report wll1 be prepared subsequent to the bid opening
and wlll be avallable for the City Council on Monday, March 26, 1984.
Due to the reJectlon of these ltems prevlously, it is essential that the
City Councll evaluate the new bld (No. 1941) as soon as posslble 1n order
for the Clty to remaln on schedule in terms of ltS Resldential Conservation
SerVlces Program Agreement wlth the Southern Cal,fornla Gas and Ed1son
Companles.
