SUBJECT: Recommendation to Reject Bid to Furnish and Deliver One
(1) Articulated Tandem Roller, Bid Numher 2141
INTRODUCTION
This report concerns rejection of bid for one (1) articulated
tandem roller for the streets Division, General Services
Department.
BACKGROUND
In response to published Notices Inviting Bids (published
September 2 and 3, 1987) to furnish and deliver one (1)
articulated tandem roller in accordance with City specifications,
bids were received and publicly opened and read on September 29,
1987. Proposal forms were mailed to six vendors and notices were
advertised in accordance with city Charter and Municipal Code
provisions. One proposal was received as follows:
