RecoTIlTIendation to award bid for 31 Reclining Chairs.

Introduction
This report concerns award of bid for 31 Reclining Chairs
in the total amount of $9,276.04 including applicable sales
tax Funds for this purchase have been budgeted in account
number 01-300-311-000-950.
~ackground
In response to published Not1ce Inviting Bids to furnish and
deliver Reclining chairs in accordance with City specifications,
bids were received and publicly opened and read November 20, 1980.
Proposal forms were mailed to eight vendors and notices were
advertised in accordance with City Charter and Municiual Code
provisions. Three proposals were received as sho_vn on the recap
sheet.
Recommendation
It is recommended that the award be Nade to Culver-Newlin, Inc.
for $8,750.99 plus $525 05 sales tax for a total amount of
$9,276.04 as the lowest and best bidder.
