This report concerns award of bid for 7500 G\~~ Pic~u~ with
Hydraulic Dump Body in the total amount of $9,613 55
including applicable sales tax. Funds for this purchase have been
budgeted in account number 01-400-511-000-950
Background
In response to published Notice Inviting Bids to furnish and
deliver 7500 G\~ Pick Up with Hydraulic Dump Body in accordance
with City specifications, bids were received and publicly opened
and read December 9, 1980. Proposal forms were mailed to
twenty vendors and notices were advertised in accordance with
City Charter and Municipal Code provisions. One proposal was
received
Recommendation
It is recommended that the award be made to Claude Short Dodge
in the total amount of S9,6l3.55, including tax, as the lowest
and best ~
