Introduction
This report concerns award of bid for Sand, Gravel, and Aggregates
in the estimated amount of ~ 40.000.00 including applicable sales tax.
Funds for this purchase have been budgeted in account number
01-500-421-000-414
Background
In response to published Notice Inviting Bids to furnish and
deliver Sand, Gravel, and Aggregates in accordance with City
Specifications, bids were received and publicly opened and read
December 23, 1980. Proposal forms were mailed to Seventeen Vendors
and notices were advertised in accordance with City Charter and
Vunicipal Code provisions. rrwo proposals were received.
Recommendation
It is recommended that the award be made to Blue Diamond Materials
in the approximate ~mount of $ 40,000.00 including tax as the
lowest aria Dest bidder.
