SUBJECT: Reconnnendation to award bid to Columbia Cascade Timber
Company for Playground Equipment Bid No 1579
Introduction
This report concerns award of bid for Playground Equipment in
the total amount of $11,146.04 including apolicable sales tax
Funds for this purchase have been budgeted in account number
200-262-000
Background
In response to published Notice Inviting Bids to furnish and
deliver Playground Equipment in accordance with City specifications,
bids were received and publicly opened and read January 8, 1981.
Proposal forms were mailed to seven vendors and notices were adver-
tised in accordance with City Charter and ~unicipal Code provisions.
Two proposals were received
Reconnnendation
It is reconnnended that the award be made to Columbia Cascade
Timber Co. in the total amount of $11,146 04, including tax,
as the lowest and best bidder.
