SUBJECT Recommendation to award bid for Truck Body
with Electric Crane in the Mechanical Maintenance

Introduction
This report concerns award of bid for Truck Body with Electric
Crane in the total amount of $14,772 00 Lncluding applicable
sales tax. Funds for this purchase have been budgeted in
account number 38-500-671-000-950.
Background
In response to published Notice Inviting Bids to furnish and
deliver Truck Body with Electric Crane in accordance with
City specifications, bids were received and publicly opened
and read February 24, 1981. Proposal forms were mailed to
Fourteen Vendors and notices were advertised in accordance
with City Charter and Municipal Code provisions. One
proposal was received.
Recommendation
It is recommended
in the total amount
and best bidder.
the award be made to Royal Truck Body Inc.
of $14,772 00, including tax, as the lowest
