SUBJECT: Recommendation to Award RLd for Repair and Rebuilding of
Automotive Generators, Starters and Regulators for the
Mechanical Maintenance Department. Bid No. 1599
Introduction
This report concerns award of bid for repair and rebuilding of
automotive generators, starters and regulators in the estimated
amount of $13,000.00 including applicable sales tax Funds
for th~s purchase have been budgeted in various department
accounts.
Background
In response to published Notice Inviting Bids to furnish and
deliver repair and rebuilding services for automotive electrical
components in accordance with City specifications, bids were
received and publicly opened and read March 31, 1981. Proposal forms
were mailed to twelve vendors and notices were advertised in
accordance with City Charter and Municipal Code provisions One
proposal was received.
RecoTIlIIlendation
It is recommended that the award be made to George Ozawa in the
total estimated a~ount of $13,000.00, including tax, as the
