Introduct1on
This report concerns award of bid for Floodlighting Equipment for
JoS~;TO PaIK in the total amount of $8,599.74 including applicable
sales tax. Funds for this purchase have been budgeted in
account number 80903-000
Background
In response to published Notice Inviting Bids to furnish and
deliver the Floodlighting Equipment in accordance with City
specifications, bids were received and publicly opened and
read tlay 6, 1981. Proposal forms were mailed to six vendors and
notices were advertised in accordance with City Charter and
Municipal Code provisions. Two proposals were received
Recommendation
It is recommended that the award be made to Excel Electric Co.
in the total amount of $8,599 74, including tax as the lowest
and best bidder.
