Introduction
This report concerns avard of bid for Greenbar Continuous Stock
in the total amount of $16,482.68 including applicable sales tax.
Funds for this purchase have been budgeted in account number
01-100-223-000-411.

In response to published l10tice Inviting Bids to furnish and
deliver Greenbar Stock in accordance with City specifications,
bids vere received and publicly opened and read July 9, 1981.
Proposal forms ,lere mailed to sixteen vendors and notices were
advertised in accordance with City Charter and }lunicipal Code
provisions. Six proposals were received.

It is recoDQended that the award be made to Burroughs Corporation
in the total amount of $16,482.68, including tax, as the lowest
and best bidder.
