SUBJECT: RecODmendation to Award Bid for Bus Cleaning Services.
Effective August 1, 1981 through July 31, 1982

Introduction
This report concerns Award of Did for Bus Cleaning Service in
the total estimated anount of $22,000 including applicable sales
tax. Funds for this purchase have been budgeted in account
number 00151-000.
Background
In response to published Notice Inviting Bids to furnish and
deliver Bus Cleaning Service in accordance with City specifications,
bids were rece~ved and publicly opened and read July 7, 1981.
Proposal forms were ma~led to eighteen vendors and notices were
advertised in accordance with City Charter and Municipal Code
provisions. Three proposals were received.
RecoElti1endation
It is recommended that the award be Qade to B & W Service
Industries in the estiDated aDount of $22,000, including tax,
as the lowest and bes~ bid~ ~
