SUBJECT: Recorumendation to Award Bid for Petroleum Products
Bid No. 1613.
Introduction
This report concerns awards of bid for fuels, uotor oils, solvents,
4ydraulic and transmission fluids as ordered during the period
August 1, 1981 through July 31, 1982. Costs for these supplies
will be charged to various City accounts. Individual item prices
are subject to change and are based upon current posted prices as
of the bid opening date.
Background
In response to published notice inviting bids to furnish and deliver
petroleum products in accordance with City specifications, bids were
received and publicly opened and read June 9, 1981. Proposals were
mailed to nineteen vendors and notices were advertised in ac-
cordance with C~ty Charter and Uunicipal Code Provisions. Four
proposals were received.
Recommendation
It is recommended that awards be Qade to the following vendors.
