SUBJECT: Recommendation to Award Bid for One Dump Truck
Bid No. 1662
Introduction
This report concerns award of bid for one low profile
dump truck, in the total amount of $23,963.35 including
applicable sales tax. Funds for this purchase have been
budgeted in account number 01-400-511-000-801 (Parks
Division)
Background
In response to published Notice Inviting Bids to furnish
and deliver one low profile dump truck in acco~dance with
City specifications, bids were received and publicly opened
and read on August 25, 1981. Proposal forms were mailed to
twenty-one dealers and notices were advertised in accordance
with City Charter and Municipal Code provisions. Three
proposals were received as noted on the attached schedule.
Recommendation
It is recommended that the award be made to Don Kott Ford,
Carson, Ca. in the total amount of $23,963.35, including
tax, as the lowest an~~b~:l:-'~idder.
