SUBJECT; Recommendation to Award Bid for One Turf Pick-Up
Truck Bid No. 1660.
Introduction
This report concerns award of bid for one 18 Horsepower light-
weight utility turf pick-up truck for use in the Parks Division
in the total amount of $5,346.64 including applicable sales
tax. Funds for this purchase have been budgeted in account

Background
In response to published Notice Inviting Bids to furnish and
deliver the turf truck in accordance with City specifications,
bids were received and publicly opened and read on August 27, 1981.
Proposal forms were mailed to twelve vendors and notices were
advertised in accordance with City Charter and Municipal Code
prov1slons. One proposal was received from Cushman Motor Sales,
Inc.,neeting City specifications.
RecoImllendation
It is recommended that the award be made to Cushman l1otor Sales, Tnc.,
Cerritos, CA. in the total amount of $5,346.64 including tax,
as the lowest and best bidder.
