SUBJECT: Recommendation to Award Bid to Furnish and Deliver
Miscellaneous Plumbing Supplies, Bid *2418
Introduction
This report concerns award of bid to furnish and deliver
miscellaneous plumbing supplies for the Public Facilities
Maintenance Division, General Services Department, at specified
unit prices, plus applicable sales tax.
Background
In response to published Notices Inviting Bids (published June 12
and 15, 1992) to furnish and deliver miscellaneous plumbing
supplies in accordance with City specifications, bids were
received and publicly opened and read on June 29, 1992. Proposal
forms were mailed to twelve vendors and notices were advertised
in accordance with City Charter and Municipal Code provisions.

miscellaneous plumbing supplies such as heaters, drains and
faucets.
staff has evaluated the low bid and finds that it meets City
specifications.
BUdget/Financial Impact
Fiscal Year 1992/93 appropriation authority for this purchase is
in the Public Facilities Maintenance Division, General Services
Department, account number 01-500-451-00000-4401-00000.
Recommendation
It is recommended that the award of Bid #2418 be made to Familian
Bay Area at specified unit prices, plus applicable sales tax, as
the lowest and best bidder.
