INTRODUCTION
This report concerns award of bid to furnish hot asphaltic
concrete paving mixes for the street Division, General Services
for a one-year period.

In response to published Notices Inviting Bids (pub11shed June 3
and 5, 1989) to furnish hot asphaltic concrete paving mixes in
accordance with City specifications, bids were received and
publicly opened and read on June 13, 1989. Proposal forms were

BUDGETARY/FINANCIAL IMPACT
Fiscal Year 1989/90 appropriation authority for this purchase is
1n the Streets Division, General Services Department, account
number 01-500-421-000-414.
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the award of Bid #2235 be made to
Industr1al Asphalt per specified unit pr1ces plus, applicable
tax, as the lowest and best bidder.
