SUBJECT: Budget study Session and Budget Public Hearing
Introduction
This report recommends that the City Council formally set
Tuesday, May 31, and Wednesday, June 1, as Budget study Sessions
for consideration of the FY 1987-88 Proposed Budget, and Tuesday
June 21 as the Budget Public Hearing date.
Discussion
After reviewing alternative dates for the Budget study Sessions
for the FY 1988-89 Proposed Budget, the evenings of Tuesday May
31 and Wednesday June 1 have been selected: and the evening of
Tuesday June 21 has been selected for the Public Budget Hearing.
The Budget Study Sessions will begin at 6:00 pm in the City
council Chambers and the Public Budget Hearing will begin at 7:30
pm in the City Council Chambers.
Recommendation
city staff recommends that the city Council formally set the days
and times specified above for the FY 1988-89 Proposed Budget
Study Sessions and Public Budget Hearing.
