Supplement to Budget Study Sess~ons Schedule
Introductlon
1) We have learned that the proposed June 9 budget study
sess~on ~s In confllct wlth a regularly scheduled Rent Control
Board meeting ~n the Councll Chambers. We are request~ng Councll
gUldance as to whether the dates or meetlng place of one or both
meetlngs should be adJusted. We have contacted the Rent Control
hdnlnlstrator and he lS wl111ng to work w~th C~ty Staff to
accommodate the schedule overlap.
2) In the event that the publlC testlmony or Council
dlScusslon froQ the General Revenue SharlngjCommunlty Development
Block Grant meetlng lS not completed on May 31, we suggest
holding June 7 open as a posslble carryover publlc hearlng date.
To do thlS, we suggest beglnnlng the budget study seSS10n that
evenlng wlth Recreatlon and Parks at 6:00 p.m. and then revlewlng
the Cow~unlty and EconomlC Development Departnent.
