Attorney to prepare re5olutlon reaffirmlng the counell's
Opposltlon to 011 drllling In Santa Monlca Bay speclflcally
stat~hg that the deflhltion of "Santa Mon~ca Bay" lS now
and always has been the same as the deflnltlon presently
belng used by Congressman LeVlne In hlS negotlatlons wlth
the Department of Inter~or.
It ~s also requested that thlS Councllmember ltem be heard
and voted on early ~n the meetlng of July 9, so the C~ty
Attorney may draft a resolution for consideratlon later ~n
the meetlng,
