Introduction
Th1S report transmIts the Personnel Board's comments regarding
the C1ty'S 1983-84 AffirmatIve Action program update which is

At theIr regular meet1ngs of November 14, 1983 and January 9,
1984, the Personnel Board revlewed the 1983-84 Afflrmatlve
ActIon proJram Update and voted to transmIt the follOWIng
comments:
P 2 & 4.
The
Board would like language from the
Complaint
ResolutIon
Procedure regarding
access to the City Council if the complaint
1nvolves a Council appointed offlc1al added
to the C1arIficatlon of the Affirmative
ActIon POllCY Concerning sexual Harassment.
P 3.
The Board would lIke coples of the update to
be avaIlable in the C1ty Hall Employee
Lounge, the street and Water Div 1510n

Department 1n order to better gauge progress.
Recommendation
It IS recommended that Council conslder the comments of the
Personnel Board in conjunction Wlth any actlon taken on Item lIE
on the agenda.
