We also propose actlons to be taken by the Task Force and City Staff to begin design and construction of the above projects, all of WhlCh can be completed 2 IDA j t t f f ~ .. (Revised p. 3) within approximately one year, Finally, we identify further studies and investigations (including parking and clrculation ~ questions) for the Task Force and City staff to conduct concurrent with development of the above Pier projects. We therefore respectfully request that the Council take the following actions: 1. Accept and approve the Pier Restoration and Development guidelines contained in the attached report and direct staff to continue working with the Pier Task Force and Coastal Conservancy representatives to implement the Pier guidelines as proposed in the report. 2. Appropriate $400,000 from the Recreational Lnit Tax Fund for the restoration of the landmark Sinhad's building and construction of public restrooms.
