Introduction
ThlS report transmlts the attached ordlnance for
flrst reading and publlC hearlng, relatlng to an lncrease
ln on-s~te refuse charges. ThlS ordinance was requested by
the C~ty COUDCll at lts meetlng of September 13, 1977.
Background
The attached ordlnance lncorporates the recommended
~ncreases ln the charge per month for on-Slte refuse collectlon.
The attached ordinance increases the charge per
month from $2.50 to $5.40 for tWlce weekly collectlons, and
from $7.50 to $18.00 per month for dally collect~ons.

It is respectfully recommended that the Clty
