Background In April 1984, the construction of the Transportation Department Administration Building was completed. These include temperature variations of 36 degrees F. from the north side of the building to the south side, lack of air flow in some areas, and excessive maintenance costs due to the complex control system specified by the original building design. A claim against the architect for deficient work has been made.
