Resolution Authorizing the city Manager to Execute a
Memorandum of Understanding with the Management Team
Associates
INTRODUCTION
This report requests that Council adopt the attached Resolution
authorizing the City Manager to execute a memorandum of
understanding (MOU) with the Management Team Associates.
BACKGROUND
The current MOU with the Management Team Associates expires on
June 30, 1987.
Negotiations to replace this MOU commenced in
April and resulted in the attached MOU. This new agreement was
ratified by the membership of MTA on June 23, 1987.
The agreement includes cost of living increases, an increase in
the City match for deferred compensation, and an increase in the
maximum Ci ty contribution for health insurance.
A previously
included call-back pay clause has been deleted.

RECOMMENDATIONS
It is recommended that Council adopt the attached Resolution
authorizing the City Manager to execute the attached MOU with the
Santa Monica Management Team Associates.
