SUBJECT: Resolution Authorizing the City Manager to Execute an Amendment to the
Memorandum of Understanding with the Municipal Employees Association
INTRODUCTION
TNI report requests that ~ncil adopt the attached Reso~tion ~uthorizi~ the CIty
Managerto execute an ame~t to the Memorandum of Un1erstatKiing (M~U) with the
Municipal Employees Association.
BACKGROUND

classifications Current City employees who hold a position in one of those job
classifications will be given the opportunity to obtain the computer skills that will be needed
in order to qualify for the position,
BUDGET/FINANCIAL IMPACT
Funds are already included in the budget for FY2003-2004 to cover any costs associated
with this amendment to the Memorandum of Understanding with the Municipal Employees
Association.
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that Council adopt the attached Resolution authorizing the City
Manager to execute an amendment to the Memorandum of Understanding with the
Municipal Employees Association.
