Subject: Adoption of Ordinances To Extend the Time Limits on the Effectiveness of
the Redevelopment Plans and the Time Limits for Paying Indebtedness and
Receiving Property Taxes for the Earthquake Recovery, Downtown, Ocean
Park 1A, and Ocean Park 1B Redevelopment Project Areas
Introduction
At its meeting on December 16, 2003, the City Council introduced for first reading
ordinances extending the time limits for paying indebtedness and receiving property
taxes for the Earthquake Recovery, Downtown, Ocean Park 1A, and Ocean Park 1B
Redevelopment Project Areas. The Ordinance is now presented to the City Council for
adoption.
Recommendations
It is respectfully recommended that the accompanying ordinances be adopted.
