SUBJECT: Resolution Authorizing the City Manager to Execute a Memorandum of
Understanding with the Public Attorneys' Legal Support Staff Union
INTRODUCTION
This report requests that Council adopt the attached Resolution authorizing the City
Manager to execute a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Public Attorneys'
Legal Support Staff Union.
BACKGROUND
The current Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Public Attorneys' Legal
Support Staff Union (PALSSU) expired on June 30, 2003. As per the terms and conditions

and resulted in the attached MOU. This new agreement has been ratified by the
membership of PALSSU.
