SUBJECT: Resolution Amending the Executive Pay Plan
INTRODUCTION
This report requests that Council adopt the attached Resolution amending the Executive
Pay Plan (EPP).
BACKGROUND
The most recent amendment to the Executive Pay Plan was effective July 1, 2000. In
accordance with Ordinance No. 801 (CCS), the City and members of the Executive Pay
Plan have reached an agreement to amend the Executive Pay Plan as of July 1, 2001.
The amendment provides for a cost of living increase for FY2001-02 and makes one other
change regarding future cost of living adjustments whereby members of the Executive Pay
Plan will receive the cost of living adjustment given to other City bargaining units.

BUDGET/FINANCIAL IMPACT
Funds are already included in the budget for FY2001-02to cover any costs associated with
this agreement.
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that Council adoptthe attached Resolution amending the Executive Pay
Plan.
