IntroductIon
This report recommends award of bid to furnish, deliver and Install secunty cameras on
buses for the TransportatIon Department, at specifIed umt pnces, including applicable
sales tax The estimated annual expenditure IS $98,452 00
Background
In response to published Notices Inviting Bids (published June 1 and June 2, 1998) In
accordance With City specifications, bids were received and publicly opened and read on
June 24, 1998 Proposal forms were mailed to ten vendors and notices were advertised In
accordance With CIty Charter and MUniCipal Code proVIsions F our proposals were
received as follows

by Prima FaCia. Inc and finds that It meets City specifIcations

Fiscal Year 1998-99 appropnatlon authority is In the Capital Improvement Budget account
number 41-750-657-20097-8900-99106, "Bus Component Replacement Program."
RecommendatIon
It IS recommended that the award of Bid #2704 be made to Pnma Facia, Inc at specified
Unit pnces, as the lowest responsible bidder
