traIler for the SolId Waste DIVISIon, Environmental and Public Works Management
Department, In the total amount of $78,300 24, Including applicable sales tax

In response to published Notices Inviting Bids (published May 22 and May 23, 1998) In
accordance WIth CIty specIfications, bIds were receIved and publIcly opened and read on
June 23, 1998 Proposal forms were maIled to four vendors and notIces were advertised
In accordance WIth CIty Charter and MUnicIpal Code proVIsIons Two proposals were

Staff has evaluated the bid submItted by Compaction Control Industries and fmds that It
meets CIty speCifications

responsible bidder
