Inc, and Q'Bnen-Kreltzberg, Inc. In an amount not to exceed $150.000 Background Since FY 1996-97. the City has had a comprehensive program to mamtam City-owned properties The FaCIlity Maintenance Program mcludes code upgrades and deferred maintenance In City bUlldmgs and parks The FacJIJtJes Maintenance Program Includes the deSign for the repaIrs and upgrades Identified dUring Phase I assessments The scope of work for thiS phase IS diVided mto two parts Part 1 of the FaCIlity Maintenance Program Includes City Hall, City Yards, Parking Structures 1-5, Woodlawn Cemetery, Beach Restrooms, and the Animal Shelter Work at 1 ~-I JUN 2 3 . these locatIons will rnclude ADA (Americans wIth DIsabIlitIes Act) and Callforma TItle 24 Improvements Also Included are general maintenance repairs such as concrete repair, repamtlng, plumbing and mechamcal systems repair, door replacement, installation of new floor finishes, guardraIl repair, and counter top reflnlshmg The cost IS $710,000 DIScussion A Request for Qualifications (RFQ) was Issued on March 23, 1998 to nine firms Three responses were received by Apnl 22, 1998 and reviewed by a committee whIch Included representatives from Community and Cultural Services, and the Public FacIlitIes Maintenance and Engineering DIvIsions of the Environmental and Public Works Management Department The review committee conducted Interviews on May 27, 1998 The committee u nammously recommended the partnership of E W Moon.
