HAY 2 6 f998 DISCUSSIon Robert Gottlieb, former professor of environmental policy at UCLA, has decided to resign from the Task Force due to professional obligations Dr Susan Mearns, an environmental consultant, has submitted an application to become a member of the Task Force Susan Mearns has expertise In ecological and human health risk assessment, and experience In water quahty Issues and hazardous waste remediation The SIX remaining members of the Task Force, City staff and the City Manager recommend that Susan Mearns be appoInted to fill the vacancy BudaeUFlnanclallmoact - .
